Blueprints

There are certain words Holy Spirit will not let you skim past.

They don’t just stand out

they stand up.

Like they’ve been waiting for you to look them in the eyes.

Blueprints.

That is a word Holy Spirit has been bringing to my awareness.

Yesterday during my devotional time that was a word that stood out and I wrote it down.

This morning one of the first things that I wrote down was: he saw the blueprint.

And I underlined blueprint… because I could feel it—OK… You’re really bringing this one home, Holy Spirit.

Because you brought it to my attention yesterday.

And it made me think about “out of the blue miracles”—what I had written about a while ago—how He has this way of making something feel like lightning and kindness at the same time… a Godwink that doesn’t just make you smile…

it makes you wake up.

So later, I turned to my last devotional for the morning—and the title is:

I am God of the new.

And the first line reads:

“When you see me moving forward, it’s time for you to move on too. Old ways of doing things will not suffice. They won’t work in this new season. I am passing out fresh blueprints…”

And as soon as I read it…

I laughed.

Not because it wasn’t holy.

But because it was.

Because it was so obvious that He was confirming what He was already underlining.

Like Heaven was gently grinning and saying,

“Yes. That word again. On purpose.”

And instantly I started thinking…

What is a blueprint?

On the surface, I know what a blueprint is.

But that is exactly how Holy Spirit loves to lead me—He’ll take what we think we understand and then He’ll tilt it in the light until we realize we’ve only been seeing the outline

not the depth.

So let’s define it, because definitions can be doorways.

A blueprint is a detailed plan.

A design.

A map of what is going to be built.

It shows structure before the structure exists.

It reveals measurements before the walls are standing.

It tells you where things go—before anything is visible.

A blueprint is what the builder reads when the building is still unseen.

And right there…

that preaches.

Because how many times have we stood in a season where nothing looks built yet…

and the Spirit keeps whispering, It’s already mapped.

How many times have we looked at “empty space” and called it delay…

when heaven calls it foundation?

And then Holy Spirit did what He always does with me.

He separated the word.

Not because He needed to…

but because He wanted to.

Because sometimes revelation is hidden in the split.

So I started seeing:

blue

and then print

And something in me leaned forward.

Because blue isn’t just a color.

Blue in Scripture carries weight.

Blue is heaven-leaning.

It’s the color that whispers: remember who you belong to.

It calls your gaze upward.

It smells like the throne.

It feels like divine order.

It’s the shade of “not from here.”

And then print

Print is an imprint.

A mark.

A trace.

A stamp.

A pattern left behind that proves something touched something.

Print is evidence.

Print is what remains when someone has been there.

So if Holy Spirit is saying He is passing out fresh blueprints

I hear it like this:

He is handing you a heaven-pattern…

with His fingerprints on it.

He is not just giving you an idea.

He is giving you a design that carries His touch.

A plan that smells like His presence.

A map that is already saturated with His intention.

And the image that came to my spirit immediately was so vivid it almost made my body respond:

Me standing there…

and the Lord literally handing me a fresh blueprint.

Fresh.

Brand new.

Just done.

Just finished.

Like ink still drying.

Like lines still warm.

And my mind started expanding because the devotional continues:

“There’s a fresh new fragrance in the air! Step into this new territory. You’ve never been down this road before—but I have. I’ve gone before you and mapped it all out. I have prepared the way for you and will walk beside you and my plan for you is more beautiful than your loftiest imagination.”

That phrase—fresh new fragrance—does something to me.

Because fragrance is invisible, but undeniable.

You can’t always explain it…

but you can feel it shift the atmosphere.

Fragrance is one of the ways heaven announces itself without making a speech.

And if there’s a fresh fragrance in the air, it means something is changing before you can fully explain what changed.

It means the Lord is already moving.

And the next line is the one that feels like a holy shove—in the best way:

“My voice will lead you forward into beautiful and more spacious horizons. I have equipped you. I’m launching you into a greater realm of glory to know and to be known by me.”

Launching.

I love that word.

Because launching is not strolling.

Launching is release.

It’s motion with momentum.

It’s when something that has been prepared in secret is suddenly moved into visibility with force.

Launching implies:

  • timing

  • readiness

  • ignition

  • trajectory

You don’t launch what hasn’t been built to carry flight.

You don’t launch what’s still fragile.

You launch what’s been reinforced.

Which means: if He is talking about launching you…

there has been formation happening under the surface that you didn’t fully recognize.

And this is how you know Holy Spirit is tapping you on the shoulder saying:

Get ready.

Stay ready.

Because often the tap comes before the takeoff.

It’s not panic.

It’s preparation.

It’s the Spirit alerting your inner world:

Stop living like you’re stuck.

Stop planning like you’re staying.

Stop thinking like you’re stationary.

Because movement is coming.

And then the devotional says:

“In knowing me, you will find your greatest peace and greatest hope to move forward, for in that place, you will encounter my heart and be kept safe.”

That line feels like the mercy inside the push.

Because the Lord never launches you away from His heart.

He launches you deeper into it.

He doesn’t send you into “new” to abandon you.

He sends you into “new” because He has already gone there…

and He refuses to let you walk it alone.

And then… as if He knew the exact fear that tries to rise when the word “new” gets spoken:

“So don’t be afraid to try new endeavors and to leave things that have run their full course for my holy anointing is moving from what once was to what is ready to be!”

That phrase—run their full course—is holy closure.

Because sometimes what we call “loss” is actually completion.

Sometimes what we call “ending” is simply a season that finished doing what it was assigned to do.

And the Lord, being faithful, doesn’t keep you bound to what already emptied itself.

He moves.

And when He moves forward…

it’s time for us to move forward too.

And then the Scripture that seals it—the one that doesn’t just comfort, it redefines identity:

“If anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold everything is fresh and new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 (TPT)

I don’t know how to say this without it feeling like a trumpet in my spirit:

Fresh blueprints are not just about what you will do.

They’re about who you are becoming.

Because God doesn’t hand new plans to an old identity.

He hands new blueprints to a new creation.

He doesn’t just map new territory…

He remakes the traveler.

And maybe that’s the revelation hidden inside the word:

A blueprint is for building.

But a blueprint from God is for becoming.

So if Holy Spirit has been bringing that word to your awareness too…

let it land.

Let it confront the part of you that keeps waiting for proof before you move.

Let it awaken the part of you that forgot that heaven plans before earth performs.

Let it call you out of the old order.

Because the Builder has already seen the finished form.

He saw the blueprint.

And the fragrance is already in the air.

And if you listen closely…

you can hear the sound of paper unfolding.

Not in your hands.

In the spirit.

And the One who mapped it is smiling as He says:

Step into it.

I’ve already prepared the way.

And I am launching you—

into what is ready to be.

———

I Hear the Spirit Say

Beloved… I am not teasing you with a word.

I am initiating you with it.

Because when I whisper blueprint, I am not handing you pressure—I am handing you proof that I have already been there.

You keep looking for visible evidence, but I am giving you invisible certainty.

A blueprint is not for the crowd.

It is for the builder.

It is for the one who has decided to trust what cannot be seen yet.

So let Me say it plainly:

I am not asking you to manufacture a future.

I am inviting you to agree with one.

I am the God who designs before I reveals.

I am the God who maps before I moves.

And when I place a fresh blueprint in your spirit, it means this:

What you thought was delay was actually development.

What you thought was silence was actually structure.

What you thought was the end of a season was Me closing a chapter so I could open a door you couldn’t have carried old weight through.

Do you feel the fragrance?

That’s not emotion.

That’s atmosphere shifting.

That’s the scent of transition.

That’s the evidence that I am moving forward—and you are about to move with Me.

So stop rehearsing what ran its full course.

Stop trying to revive what I already completed.

Stop calling it loss when I call it release.

I do not pass out new blueprints to keep you stuck in old rooms.

I am launching you.

And launching does not feel like comfort at first—it feels like surrender.

It feels like stepping before you have proof.

It feels like letting go of the rail while you still want to hold on.

But I am not launching you away from My heart.

I am launching you deeper into it.

Because My plan is not just new territory…

My plan is a new you.

So lift your eyes.

Receive the lines.

Let the old order vanish without grief.

Let the new order rise without apology.

And if you don’t know what the next step is—good.

That means you’re not leading.

I am.

Follow the fragrance.

Follow the peace that doesn’t make sense.

Follow the blueprint I placed in your spirit.

Because I do not sketch futures I do not intend to build.

And I do not call you into “new” to abandon you there.

I go before you.

I walk beside you.

And I finish what I start.

So take the paper.

Hold it with reverence.

And move forward…

because I am the God of the new.”
