The Distance Has Been Closed

This morning, I opened my devotional and read the line:

“I have closed the distance, daughter. Nothing can separate you from My commanding kindness.”

And I sat still.

That one sentence wrapped itself around my heart like a warm, weighted mantle.

It didn’t just speak to me—it spoke of me.

Of you.

Of us.

Of the sacred tether that cannot be broken.

Immediately, my spirit whispered back:

“What does it really mean to close the distance?”

And the Holy Spirit responded without delay,

“It means I came the whole way to you.”

The Natural Closeness

In the natural, when someone closes the distance, they are no longer far off.

They rise from their seat, cross the room, and step into your space.

They kneel beside you, lean in, reach out.

They change proximity.

They close the space between the ache of your waiting

and the warmth of their arrival.

And that’s what Abba did.

Through Yeshua.

Through the Holy Spirit.

He didn’t just meet us halfway.

He closed the distance entirely.

He walked into our sorrow,

stood in the silence we didn’t know how to pray through,

and chose—once and for all—

to take up residence in the very place we thought was too broken to host Him.

Not as a visitor.

As home.

Nothing Can Separate Us

And then came the next line of the devotional:

“Nothing can separate you.”

My spirit immediately recalled Paul’s thundering declaration in Romans 8:38–39 (TPT):

“So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love…

Not troubles, pressures, or problems.

Not what’s been done to us or what’s been lost.

Not the past. Not the present. Not the future.

Not distance.

Not death.

Not demons.

Not delay.

Not doubt.”

Because the moment He closed the distance,

He did so with an eternal entanglement.

Quantum Entanglement: The Divine Thread

For those who don’t sit around thinking about quantum physics on a Tuesday morning, let me offer you a key:

Quantum Entanglement is a phenomenon where two particles—no matter how far apart—remain so deeply linked that what affects one, instantly affects the other.

Distance doesn’t matter.

Time doesn’t matter.

Light-years don’t matter.

If one particle spins, the other spins too—at the exact same time—no matter where it is.

And now let me tell you why this stopped me in my tracks:

We are entangled with the Source.

Entangled with the Spirit.

Entangled with Love Himself.

We didn’t just receive salvation—we received resonance.

He put His Spirit inside of us as a down payment (Ephesians 1:14 AMP).

The same Spirit that hovered over the waters.

The same breath that raised Christ from the dead.

The same frequency that formed galaxies

now pulses in your chest and mine.

And when God moves

we move.

When He speaks, it reverberates through the invisible strands of Spirit that bind us.

When He weeps, we feel it in the marrow.

When He delights, something inside us dances without warning.

This is not poetic.

This is physics.

It is what the early mystics knew.

It is what Yeshua meant when He said in John 17:26 (TPT):

“I revealed to them who You are, and I will continue to make You even more real to them, so that they may experience the same endless love that You have for Me—for Your love will now live in them, as I live in them.”

We are entangled by Love.

Which means we cannot be separated.

Even if we feel far off—

even if our mind has wandered or our heart is aching—

He has closed the distance.

And what touches Him—

touches us.

Scientific Echoes of the Spirit

There have been studies—tucked away in journals and dismissed by the doubters—

where one person focuses prayer, intention, or love toward another,

and the body chemistry of the recipient changes, even across great distances.

There are experiments where photons of light, once bonded, are separated—

and yet they still mirror each other’s movements in perfect synchronicity.

There are even more intimate ones—like studies where a mother and her baby

show mirrored heart rhythms when gazing into one another’s eyes,

even when placed in separate rooms.

And the Spirit whispered to me:

“If it’s true in the natural, how much more in the Spirit?”

What Entanglement with God Feels Like

You know it.

You’ve felt it.

That moment when tears rise without explanation in worship.

That moment when you say a person’s name out loud just as they call.

That moment when your spirit senses Him before your body registers anything.

It’s the sudden pull to pray.

The chill that moves through your spine during a verse.

The breath that halts when you read something He wrote just for you.

It’s not coincidence.

It’s communion.

It is the unbreakable, supernatural, quantum cord of divine nearness.

Final Thread: In Every Direction, He’s Already There

When He says,

“Look and see the evidence of My mercy,”

He’s not asking us to strain our necks into the past.

He’s telling us to open our spiritual eyes to what is still echoing now

waves from the original Word, still carrying His kindness toward us.

He’s saying:

“If you can’t feel Me, it’s okay. I’m still here.

My love doesn’t require your confirmation—only your trust.”

If you’re wondering where He is in this moment,

pause and breathe.

Not shallow.

Not anxious.

But from the deepest place in you—

that sacred spot where He lives.

He has closed the distance.

He is still affecting you.

Because He never stopped being entangled with you.

And when Love moves—

you move too.

“You are an heir to the same promises.

Let Me lovingly lead you into truth

as you receive the delight of My heart.”

Let this be your confirmation:

You haven’t missed Him.

You’re already moving with Him.

Because He never left.

And He never will.

———

I Hear the Spirit Say…

“You are closer than you know.

The whispers have not been your imagination—

They were Me.

That stirring in your chest when you walk past someone and suddenly feel compassion that doesn’t make sense?

That pause before you answer, where silence falls like a velvet curtain before the next act begins?

That ache you feel when a song lyric wraps itself around your ribs like it was written for your very breath?

That’s Me.

I do not shout.

I do not compete.

I do not beg for attention like the world does.

I wait in the quiet, in the subtle, in the in-between.

And when you slow down, when you soften your focus,

when you unclench the grip of needing to figure it all out—

you’ll feel Me.

You’ll recognize Me in the flicker before you speak,

in the moment your heart lifts unexpectedly,

in the sensation that something sacred is happening… even if you can’t explain it.

Child, I am not far.

I am not a puzzle to be solved.

I am not hiding from you—I’m hiding for you, in the places only the still-hearted can find.

You have asked for clarity,

but I am inviting you to communion.

You have asked for answers,

but I am inviting you to awareness.

You have asked for doors to open,

but I am asking you to notice the wind already shifting through the hinges.

Listen again.

Feel again.

Notice again.

Not with the mind that tries to grasp—

but with the spirit that remembers what it means to be led.

My sheep know My voice.

And you, beloved…

You are one of Mine.

Now come—

Let’s walk this road together.

One whisper at a time.”
