“I will stay close to you,
instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life.
I will advise you along the way
and lead you forth with My eyes as your guide.”
(Psalm 32:8)
I hear His voice.
Steady.
Close.
Certain.
But my own heart trembles.
Lord, I’m not sure where You’re taking me.
I’ve never been down this road before.
I see obstacles rising like mountains.
I see unknown turns ahead.
I see more questions than answers.
And I whisper the quiet confession
He already knows:
I’m not sure I’m ready.
⸻
A Cry for Familiar Shelter
I remember the cleft of the rock—
that hidden place You tucked me before,
shielded from the storm,
covered in the shadow of Your hand.
I remember the resting place in Your chambers—
where You spread a table for my weary soul,
where I felt no striving,
no pressure,
just peace.
Can we go back there?
Can I stay in the hiding place a little longer?
But I feel Your hand take mine.
Firm.
Steady.
Secure.
I see the joy lighting Your face,
the excitement in Your eyes.
And You lean close,
closer than my fear,
closer than my uncertainty,
and whisper:
“Trust Me.”
⸻
The Wild Beating of My Heart
My heart thunders in my chest.
Not because You’re angry.
Not because You’re impatient.
But because You’re inviting me forward—
into something deeper,
into something uncharted,
into something written before the foundations of the world.
You haven’t failed me before.
Not once.
Not ever.
And though I’m more nervous than excited,
though my knees tremble beneath me,
I squeeze Your hand—
and You lead me on.
⸻
A Life Never as I Planned
Life with You is never as I planned.
It is both storm and shelter.
It is both wilderness and oasis.
It is both fire and rain.
It is the unpredictable rhythm of heaven
interrupting the expectations of earth.
But it is always good.
Always holy.
Always purposeful.
I’ve learned by now:
The only thing I can be sure of
is that You are Lord over it all.
And if You are with me,
nothing else matters.
If You lead,
I will follow.
If You call,
I will come.
⸻
Everything Has Led Me Here
Looking back,
I see how every road
—crooked or straight—
has led me here.
Every disappointment was a redirection.
Every closed door was protection.
Every delay was preparation.
My entire life has been leading me
to this one sacred confession:
I am Yours.
And You are mine.
From the very beginning,
this was always Your perfect plan.
Before I took my first breath.
Before I ever wandered off.
Before I ever doubted.
You had already written “Beloved” across my life.
You had already made room for me at Your table.
You had already secured my name in Your heart.
⸻
Prophetic Whisper for Today
The Spirit whispers:
**“I have been guiding you with My eyes
long before you could see.
I have been writing your story
even when the pages felt blank.
I have been preparing this moment
when your heart would say yes,
even through trembling lips.
Don’t look back to the cleft.
Don’t retreat to the chamber.
The hiding place was for the last season.
Now I lead you forward—
with My hand in yours,
with My eyes ahead,
with My delight going before you.
You were never meant to stay hidden.
You were always meant to be led.
And though the road is unfamiliar,
My presence is the map.
Though the path winds uncertainly,
My eyes see every step.
Trust Me.
You are closer than you think.
You are stronger than you feel.
You are exactly where I’ve placed you—
on the edge of the next unfolding.”**
⸻
Declarations
I declare I will trust the Lord’s leading even when I cannot see the full path.
I declare His hand will never let go of mine.
I declare every step forward is aligned with His perfect plan.
I declare I am not alone—I am guided by His eyes, secured by His love.
I declare every storm, every delay, every detour has prepared me for this very moment.
⸻
Prayer
Yeshua,
take my trembling hand.
Lead me.
Guide me.
Teach me to trust the way Your eyes see
what I cannot yet see.
When I want to retreat,
draw me forward.
When I want to hide,
call me higher.
When fear clouds my steps,
let Your whisper clear the way.
Let my heart beat wildly,
not in terror,
but in holy wonder
at the adventure of walking with You.
You are my Lord.
You are my guide.
You are my destination.
And if I’m with You,
I know:
in the end, everything will turn out right.
Amen.
⸻
Final Thought
He leads you with His eyes.
He guides you with His gaze.
He holds your hand with unshakeable love.
Even if the road is unfamiliar,
even if the obstacles feel overwhelming,
even if you don’t feel ready—
He has never failed you before.
And He won’t start now.
You are His.
He is yours.
And that was always His perfect plan.
