According to the Power at Work Within You — When the Infinite Moves Inside

We all know this passage.

We recite it as a banner over impossible dreams. We write it on journals, hang it in nurseries, declare it over new seasons:

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we ask or imagine…”

And rightly so. It is one of the most hope-filled, awe-stirring promises in the entire New Testament.

But what most leave out is the part that changes everything:

“…according to His power that is at work within us.”

Pause.

Let that sink deeper than it ever has before.

Because this isn’t simply about what God can do. It’s about how He does it.

And the how… is not outside of you.

The how… is within you.

What Does It Mean for God’s Power to Be “At Work Within”?

The same God who stretched the heavens with His hand

now stretches His power inside your frame.

And He doesn’t do His best work outside of you—He starts with you.

The phrase “at work within” in the Greek is “energeō en hēmin” (ἐνεργέω ἐν ἡμῖν).

Energeō is where we get the English word “energy.”

It means to be active, to operate with effect, to cause a result.

This is not dormant power.

This is divine energy moving through your cells, mind, memory, imagination, and spirit to transform you, heal you, renew you—and then explode out of you in supernatural fulfillment.

So the question is not just what God can do.

The question is: Are you aware of the power already moving in you right now?

• A shift in desire—what once tempted you now repels you.

• A growing compassion for someone you once resented.

• Tears without understanding, rising from somewhere deeper than thought.

• A holy discontent that pushes you to dream bigger, pray harder, believe wilder.

These are not random emotions.

They are signs of a holy stirring, a heavenly force alive within you, reshaping the architecture of your soul from the inside out.

More Than You Dare Ask or Think

The Amplified Bible renders it powerfully:

“…infinitely beyond your greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams.”

But again, don’t miss the connection:

All that God wants to do beyond you begins inside you.

So close your eyes.

Take a deep breath.

Let your imagination stretch beyond your current circumstance.

Not into fantasy, but into the fullness of your spirit, where Christ dwells.

Can you feel it?

The Spirit brooding over the waters of your soul.

The Word becoming flesh again—inside you.

The unformed becoming formed.

The unseen becoming visible.

The power of God not just around you, but alive within you—right now.

What Happens When You Align With the Power at Work Within?

When you stop looking out there and start tending to what’s in here, your entire world changes:

• You stop begging and start partnering.

• You stop striving and start receiving.

• You stop fearing and start flowing.

Because this power is not reserved for the perfect.

It’s not measured by how spiritual you feel.

It is grace-fueled, love-rooted, Spirit-activated divine force—already implanted in you when Christ took up residence in your heart.

The question is not whether the power is present.

The question is: Will you give it space to expand?

“I have not merely entered your life—I have claimed territory within you. I do not dwell in silence; I move as a divine architect, drafting blueprints of glory within your bones. I am not waiting on your performance—only your permissionless surrender. I am not responding with barely enough—I am igniting superabundance at the molecular level of your being. You cry out for Me to move the mountains around you, but I am first shifting the tectonic plates beneath your spirit. I am tearing out faulty foundations and laying down unshakable ones. Yield. Yield fully. For though My work is hidden, it is holy. Though My movements are subtle, they are seismic. Every unseen ripple will soon crash into visible manifestation. Declarations of Power at Work Within Me

According to Ephesians 3:20, I declare:

• The supernatural power of the Living God is fully active in me—right now. It is not passive. It is not waiting. It is operating with divine precision, transforming my inner world into a dwelling place for glory.

  
  

• I carry within me the energeō of Heaven—the divine energy that creates, heals, rebuilds, resurrects, and multiplies. This power is working in my thoughts, flowing through my blood, firing through my neurons, rewiring every part of me to align with divine destiny.

  
  

• My imagination is sanctified. My faith is charged. My prayers are not empty—they are echoes of eternity, pulling the unseen into the seen by the power of God already moving through me.

  
  

• I no longer beg for breakthrough. I partner with it. I no longer strive—I flow in the current of the Spirit inside me. I no longer delay—I rise and respond to the fire within my bones.

  
  

• I do not live small, think small, or pray small. I host the immeasurable, the incalculable, the exceeding and abundant force of Heaven that infinitely surpasses my greatest dreams.

  
  

• I declare my body is the vessel. My spirit is the altar. My voice is the trumpet. And my life is the evidence that God still moves through those who make room

Prayer of Surrender to the Power Within:

Lord, I stop trying to figure out how You will do it.

I stop waiting for signs and wonders in the sky.

And I turn my gaze inward, to the sanctuary of my own spirit—

where You have chosen to dwell.

Breathe in me.

Move through me.

Stretch my imagination, expand my hope, awaken my courage.

Show me what it feels like to host Your infinite power.

Let me not waste the divine activity already happening within me.

I surrender my small thoughts.

I yield my limited prayers.

And I say—do what only You can do.

From the inside out, flood me until glory overflows.

Stop waiting for it to happen to you. Start recognizing it’s already happening in you.

The throne of heaven has made a sanctuary in your soul.

The same power that raised Christ from the dead is not circling around you—it is roaring inside you.

So rise, burning one.

Dream again, chosen vessel.

Pray like it’s done.

Walk like it’s finished.

Speak like heaven’s breath is in your lungs.

Because it is.

You were never called to do small things.

You were created to host superabundance, to carry eternal magnitude, to release earth-shifting glory by the sheer force of what is already alive in you.

Let every cell recognize it.

Let every lie be silenced.

Let every dormant gift come alive again.

You are the place where heaven begins to manifest.

And the earth is waiting for the explosion of His power at work within you.

Let it erupt.

Let it overflow.

Let it flood everything.

And let the fire never go out.
