Rest in My Faithfulness

There it was again—gentle, yet firm. A whisper in the spirit that reverberated like thunder in my soul:

“Rest in My faithfulness today. Meditate on My goodness.”

I sat still, letting the sentence wash over me—not rushing past it, not just reading the words, but entering into them. Because some words are not just meant to be read; they are meant to be inhabited. And this one, “rest,” was an invitation to surrender the striving, the worrying, the watching of the clock, and the tallying of evidence to prove whether God was moving.

It wasn’t just about physical stillness. It was a deeper call—to anchor myself in His unshakable nature.

To exhale doubt.

To inhale truth.

To breathe again in the assurance that He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

The Surface and the Deep

We are people of the surface by design and limitation. Science confirms what scripture has always hinted: we perceive less than 1% of the visible light spectrumand hear only a fraction of the full range of sound waves.

We do not see all there is to see.

We do not hear all that is being spoken.

So why do we trust what’s visible to determine our hope?

Even the oceans preach this mystery: though calm on the surface, vast unseen systems churn beneath—currents, ecosystems, life. The surface may appear quiet, but under it, there is movement, order, depth, and intelligence at work. So it is with God.

The Word That Still Speaks

Isaiah 35:4 (TPT) says:

“Say to the anxious and fearful, ’Be strong and never afraid. Look, here comes your God! He is breaking through to give you victory! He comes to avenge your enemies. With divine retribution, He comes to save you!’”

This wasn’t just a promise for a people in exile then. It is a living word, reverberating still, for you today. The Hebrew for “say” (אָמַר – amar) means not just to speak but to declare, appoint, or even command into being. When the Lord says to “say to the anxious,” He is inviting us to shift reality with our voice.

The Hebrew root of “save” (יָשַׁע – yasha’) is where we get the name Yeshua—Jesus. This isn’t just salvation from trouble. It’s deliverance, healing, and rescue in its fullest dimension. And when the word says “He comes with divine retribution,” it does not mean revenge as the world defines it. In Hebrew, נָקָם (naqam) implies restorative justice—God putting things back in order, righting wrongs, and doing what only He can do.

So when Isaiah writes, “He comes to save you,” it isn’t just poetic. It’s encoded with heaven’s promise to intervene directly in your story.

Hidden in the Numbers

Even the verse number tells a story. Isaiah 35:4.

In Hebrew numerology (Gematria):

Gematria of 35: Lamed (30) + Hey (5)

➀ Lamed (30) — Teaching, Direction, Shepherd’s Staff

  • The tallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet—reaching above the line, symbolizing that which draws from above.

  • It is shaped like a shepherd’s staff, used to gently guide and correct.

  • Root of the word “lamed” means “to teach,” “to learn,” “to go forward.”

Lamed declares:

“I am being taught by something higher than me.”

➁ Hey (5) — Behold, Breath, Revelation, Window

  • Symbolizes the breath of God.

  • A window that lets light in.

  • Often used as an invitation to pay attention to what heaven is revealing.

Hey whispers:

“Look! Open your eyes—God is showing you something holy.”

Together: 35 = Lamed + Hey

“Teaching through revelation.”

“Direction coming through divine breath.”

“Behold, I am instructing you from above.”

Or more personally:

“I am revealing how to walk through what you don’t yet understand.”

This alone could be seen as a coded promise to the fearful:

“The Lord is not punishing you for not knowing the way—

He is personally teaching you, through revelation, how to move forward.”

Gematria of 4 = Dalet (ד)

Dalet means:

  • Door, opening, entry point

  • Also represents the poor or humbled one, who stands before the door needing help

  • Found in the word “Delet” (door), “Dal” (poor), and even “Da’at”(knowledge)

Dalet speaks of:

  • Transition

  • Humility

  • Invitation to step into something new

Now, fold it in:

“I am teaching you how to walk through a new door… one that opens because you’ve been humbled, not because you’ve been perfect.”

Spiritual Flow of Isaiah 35:4

“Say to those with an anxious heart…”

The ones who feel stuck at the threshold, unsure what’s ahead.

“Be strong, fear not…”

You are not alone at this door. Strength is not your qualification—obedience is.

“Your God will come…”

Not just direction—but Presence.

“With vengeance… He will save you.”

He is coming not just to deliver you, but to repay what was stolen.

This is not only about rescue—it is about justice.

Prophetic Expansion Based on Numbers: 35 + 4

Here is a deeper, Spirit-led paraphrase of this entire equation:

“To the one standing at the door of fear, I AM says:

Behold, I am teaching you how to move forward not by sight, but by revelation.

You are not forgotten—you are being instructed from above.

You are not standing at this door alone—He is the Door.

And He is coming not just to lead you, but to repay what was done against you.

You will walk through this threshold with breath in your lungs,

and vengeance riding behind you.

Be strong. Do not fear. The Door is opening.”

It’s a cosmic alignment between number, word, and Spirit.

What’s Beneath the Worry

The Lord said to me:

“When you see how I work all of this out for your benefit, you will understand that even a moment of worry was wasted.”

Worry feels justified. It feels responsible. But it’s a thief that poses as preparation. It drains energy that was meant to fuel faith. And God, in His goodness, says:

“Trust Me. You’re still My beloved. My chosen. The one who gets preferential treatment.”

That might be hard to believe when things don’t feel preferential—when it seems others are advancing and you are standing still. But that’s because you don’t see what’s moving under the surface.

God has not forgotten His people. He has not forgotten you. He’s just been moving in dimensions you couldn’t perceive.

And now… you’re about to see Him break through.

I Hear the Spirit Say…

Rest in My faithfulness today.

Not because the path is perfect, but because I AM.

Let My goodness be the anchor that holds you steady when the winds rise.

You’ve questioned what’s moving because you can’t see the surface shift—

but I’ve been working in the deep, beyond your senses, beneath your understanding.

You who have been frozen at the edge of panic—watch how I teach you to breathe again.

The tightness in your chest will become clarity in your spirit.

The panic will turn to prophecy.

The stutter will become a declaration.

You will speak what you once feared.

You will stand where you once trembled.

I am opening a door of divine instruction.

And I am not just beside you at the threshold—I AM the Door.

And when I open, no man can shut.

You who have waited for breakthrough—watch what I open next.

Look! I am coming—

To avenge, to heal, to save.

To fulfill every word I have spoken over you.

To repay the years of fear, delay, betrayal, and false accusation.

I do not come empty-handed.

I come with recompense.

I come with restoration.

I come with glory.

You are not just seen—you are selected.

You are not just heard—you are held.

You are not just waiting—you are being taught how to walk through revelation, not reasoning.

Follow My breath.

Every inhale is a reminder of My nearness.

Every exhale is a release of what no longer belongs.

You were not created to carry what I already bore.

Let go—and let Me lead.

Even when you don’t feel it—believe it.

Because when I said I would never leave you or forsake you,

I meant it.

And I do not lie.

Yes, you are My beloved.

Yes, you are My chosen.

And yes—you receive preferential treatment.

Favor is not a myth. It is your portion.

Behold.

You are walking through the door now.

And on the other side is everything I’ve prepared—

Victory.

Justice.

Breath.

Breakthrough.

Watch what opens next.”

Final Thought

You are standing at a divine doorway.

Not by accident. Not by delay.

But by design.

What has felt like hesitation in the natural has actually been divine precision in the Spirit.

You’ve been held here, not because you’re forgotten, but because you’re being formed.

And now—He is beckoning you forward.

Rest in His faithfulness.

Meditate on His goodness.

Let these be your shoes of readiness as you prepare to walk through.

There is a breakthrough coming that will make every anxious thought irrelevant.

Every sleepless night, every whispered worry, every internal wrestling match—will dissolve in the light of what He’s about to do.

And when it comes, you will say with holy clarity:

“Even a moment of worry was wasted.”

Isaiah 35:4 does not merely say “fear not”

It teaches you how.

It gives you permission to look and see your God—breaking through.

It does not rush you past your fear; it walks you through it with authority.

Even the numbers themselves are a prophecy in code:

35 says, “Revelation is teaching you.”

4 says, “Walk through the door—even if you don’t yet understand.”

These are more than digits on a page—

They are positions of the heart.

They are postures of trust.

They are breadcrumbs left by the Spirit for the ones who refuse to panic and instead choose to follow peace.

You are at the threshold.

And He will meet you there.

Not just with words—

But with salvation.

With presence.

With power.

He is not just on the other side of the door.

He is the door.

And He is opening—now.
