Sent to See — The Man at the Pool

You’ve heard this story before.
A blind man.
Mud smeared across his eyes.
A journey to a pool.
A miracle.
But if you stop there, you’ve only skimmed the surface.
Because this isn’t just a story of healing.
This is a story of being seen.
Before there was sight, there was recognition.
Before there was healing, there was a holy interruption.
Yeshua was passing by.
He didn’t come looking for applause.
He didn’t wait to be asked.
He noticed.
And when He noticed, He did not offer a sermon or a theory.
He stooped.
He reached into the dust.
He made clay with His own spit — the DNA of Heaven mingling with the dust of Earth —
and smeared purpose across blind eyes.
Then came the command:
“Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which means Sent).”
— John 9:7
Not “try this and see if it helps.”
Not “maybe you’ll get better.”
No — Go.
Go wash in what has been sent.
Go be cleansed in the place that bears the very name of the Messiah’s mission.
Siloam.
Sent.
Because healing didn’t just come from the mud.
It came from obedience to the voice of the One who sent him.
⸻
Sight Comes After Obedience
This is the part we must not skip.
The man was not healed the moment the mud touched his face.
He was still blind when the Word gave him a direction.
The clarity came in the going.
It wasn’t the touch alone that changed him.
It was the walk.
The steps taken in faith,
in blindness,
in confusion,
in trust.
Because faith is often this:
Mud on your face.
Questions in your head.
And a voice saying: Go.
Don’t miss this.
Sight doesn’t come before obedience.
Sight is unlocked by it.
Clarity is not the requirement.
It is the reward.
And Siloam — that quiet pool fed by the Gihon spring through the darkness of Hezekiah’s tunnel —
was not just a location.
It was a prophetic declaration.
“Wash in what I’ve sent you.
And when you return — return seeing.”
⸻
Thoughts Must Pass Through Truth
While you’re walking — yes, still blind —
what you think matters.
Because thoughts aren’t background noise.
They’re blueprints.
They’re battlefields.
They’re seeds with supernatural consequence.
Science now confirms what Scripture always declared:
Thoughts carry vibration.
They alter neural pathways.
They manifest electromagnetic fields and influence quantum reality.
So what you think,
you eventually become.
What you meditate on,
you empower.
What you dwell on,
you reinforce into flesh.
Which is why the Spirit teaches:
“Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:5
Every thought must come to the checkpoint.
Is this from Heaven?
Is this aligned with Truth?
Is this Sent?
Or did hell disguise a lie as logic?
You are not helpless.
You are the gatekeeper.
And your gate is guarded by the Word.
⸻
You Were Made for This Walk
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Yeshua… for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand, so that we would walk in them.”
— Ephesians 2:10 AMP
You are not random.
You are a poem, authored by God.
A masterwork, hand-stitched in time and eternity.
And there is a path.
A prearranged path.
A course of good works already fashioned — not as options, but as assignments.
And the moment you surrender your free will to the King,
your steps are synchronized with eternity.
The path doesn’t become predestined because you walk it.
It was predestined — and now you’ve agreed.
When you say yes to Yeshua,
you say yes to everything the Father laid out before the foundation of the world.
⸻
But What About the Opposition?
Make no mistake.
There are enemies of that path.
There are stumbling blocks disguised as friends.
There are voices sent to distract and delay.
And sometimes — painfully — they come wearing human skin.
But here is the fire and the comfort:
“Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm.”
— Psalm 105:15
When you pray for their repentance and they refuse,
you surrender them to the hands of God — not with vengeance,
but with a holy understanding:
This is His battle.
We are in an age of divine distinction.
The wheat is being separated from the tares.
The counterfeit is being exposed.
The wicked will be seen —
and the righteous protected.
Yeshua is coming with justice.
And His justice is not metaphorical.
It is visible.
It is exact.
It is Sent.
⸻
I Hear the Spirit Say…
I AM the One who notices.
I see you when no one else does.
I see the ones still covered in dust,
still walking with blurred vision,
still obeying with steps that don’t yet make sense.
I see your mud-covered yes.
Your blind obedience.
Your weary faithfulness.
And I call it beautiful.
Now—walk.
Walk to what I have Sent.
Walk even when the road is unfamiliar.
Walk with nothing but My Word in your spirit
and the dirt of your process still on your face.
Because when you return,
you will not return confused.
You will not return forsaken.
You will not return blind.
You will return seeing.
You will return with new eyes—
with vision birthed through obedience,
with clarity shaped in surrender,
with a testimony written in water and dust.
You are not just walking to water.
You are walking into awakening.
And everything changes from here
⸻
Declarations from the Sent Ones
I declare, according to John 9:1, I am seen by Yeshua. I am not overlooked, not forgotten, not passed by—I am noticed by the One who stops for the unseen.
I declare, according to John 9:7, I walk in obedience even before I see the full picture. My steps are ordered, and I move by faith into the place called Sent.
I declare, according to Ephesians 2:10, every step I take is aligned with the path God prepared in advance. I am walking in the prearranged glory of divine destiny.
I declare, according to John 9:11, I wash in what He Sent. I receive healing, clarity, and commissioning from the Word made flesh. I am cleansed by what Heaven released.
I declare, according to Isaiah 54:17, no weapon formed against me will prosper. The enemy will not triumph over me, for I walk under the covering of the Word that watches over and wars for me.
⸻
Prayer from the Pool of Siloam
Yeshua,
You saw me before I saw You.
You called me before I understood the call.
You anointed my eyes with the dust of the earth and the spit of heaven—
And told me to go where You had already named Sent.
I go now—washed, awakened, and willing.
I do not need to see the whole path to move.
I need only to obey the One who spoke.
I receive clarity as I go.
I receive strength as I walk.
I return as a testimony—because I am not just healed.
I am commissioned.
Not just restored—released.
Not just found—sent forth.
I walk in the name of the One who formed me in the dust
and called me forward in the light.
Amen.

Final Thought — Return With Fire in Your Eyes
This was never just about healing your eyes.
It was about opening your understanding.
You are not just the recipient of a miracle—
You are the carrier of a commission.
You were washed to be witnessed.
You were sent to be seen.
And when you return, you will not only walk with vision—
You will walk with fire.
Because you are not just the one He healed.
You are the one He Sent.
Now go—
Not timidly. Not quietly.
But boldly, blazing,
with Word-soaked steps
and eyes that see
