The wind is shifting.
Can you feel it?
The Holy Spirit is moving in ways that the modern church has not fully recognized—
not just a revival of the familiar, but the birthing of something entirely new.
It is deeper than strategy, louder than the latest trends,
and holier than our most polished plans.
This is not a renovation of what was.
This is a resurrection of what we’ve never seen.
⸻
The Holy Spirit Is Doing a New Thing
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?”
—Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)
The Spirit is stirring a hunger in the hearts of men and women,
not for a better program or a more relevant sermon,
but for something real—
something personal, experiential, and unfiltered by performance.
He is breathing life into a people who want to see power over production,
presence over polish,
truth over trendiness.
They want an encounter with El Olam—the Eternal God—
whose voice does not change,
but whose movement is always advancing.
⸻
The Problem with the Modern Church Model
Somewhere along the way,
many churches stopped asking what the Holy Spirit desired,
and began asking what the people preferred.
The services became surveys.
The sermons became soundbites.
The sanctuaries became stages.
Church was tailored like a consumer product,
crafted to attract crowds,
but often emptied of the glory that transforms them.
And yet, true faith has never been built on preference.
It is not designed to serve the selfish,
but to transform the soul.
As Billy Graham once said,
“God has given us two hands—one to receive with and the other to give with.
We are not cisterns made for hoarding; we are channels made for sharing.”
God’s people were never meant to be containers of comfort,
but conduits of living water.
⸻
Turning the Church Inside Out
We were never called to build spiritual country clubs.
We were called to be kingdom carriers.
Living, breathing altars of God’s glory
that go into the highways and back alleys,
into boardrooms and broken homes,
carrying the fire of a God who still heals, still saves, and still speaks.
This rising generation is not satisfied with sanitized Sunday faith.
They are looking for a faith that bleeds, breathes, and burns.
They crave a relationship with Yeshua that cannot be faked,
a presence that cannot be produced,
and a church that doesn’t just gather but goes.
⸻
The Joshua Generation Is Rising
“Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them…”
—Joshua 1:2 (ESV)
A new generation is crossing over.
Not to leave behind their spiritual heritage,
but to fulfill the unfinished assignments of their forefathers.
They are pioneers.
Builders.
Wilderness-tested and presence-driven.
They do not seek fame—they seek fire.
They are not looking for popularity—they are burning for purpose.
This is the Joshua Generation.
They are not confined to the pulpit.
They are entrepreneurs, artists, prophets, teachers, intercessors, and evangelists—
and they are everywhere.
In cities. In nations. In fields no one sees.
They’ve tasted the world and found it bitter.
Now they want the living water—not bottled, but flowing.
Not contained in pews, but poured into people.
⸻
This Generation Is the Move of God
They are not waiting for revival to come.
They are the revival.
Living tabernacles.
Burning voices.
Restless hearts that will not settle until they see the glory of God on earth
as it is in Heaven.
And the Holy Spirit is meeting them with signs, with wonders,
with power that cannot be explained,
and love that cannot be denied.
He is the same Spirit who hovered over the deep in Genesis,
who fell at Pentecost,
and who is now hovering over a broken world,
ready to move through those who will say:
“Send me. I’ll go.
Don’t give me a script—give me Your Spirit.”
⸻
A Personal Declaration: I Am Part of the Joshua Generation
I declare that I will not settle for shallow religion, I hear and recognize the deep in you calling to the deep in me.
I was born to burn with purpose.
I will not fit into systems You are dismantling, Lord.
I will follow Your Spirit even into the unknown.
I receive the fire of Your presence.
I receive the courage to pioneer.
I will walk boldly into the new You are doing.
And I will be a channel—not a cistern.
I am part of the Joshua Generation.
And I will carry the ark of Your presence wherever You send me.
⸻
A Prayer for the New Rising
Holy Spirit,
We recognize the shifting.
We sense the sound of new wine being poured.
Break our addiction to what’s been.
Strip us of comfort that keeps us from calling.
Breathe on this generation.
Ignite pioneers who will not be tamed.
Raise up voices that do not echo culture,
but thunder Heaven.
Let the church be more than buildings—
let it be a body burning with love for the lost,
and ablaze with truth that sets captives free.
We say yes to the new thing.
We follow You, not trends.
And we will carry living water
to the dry and dying places
until the earth is filled with the knowledge of Your glory
as the waters cover the sea.
In the name of Yeshua,
Amen.
⸻
Final Thought: This Is Not Coming—It’s Here
The move of God is not in the future.
It’s already begun.
It’s not waiting on permission.
It’s waiting on participation.
Let the modern church awaken.
Let every son and daughter rise.
And let the Spirit find us ready—
because El Olam is on the move.
